Known bugs

• Memory overflows – We hope to cover this point soon
• Certain events are not compatible between the UE4 and UE5 versions. We recommend playing the game from the beginning if you encounter any issues or playing from a point earlier in the story before the error appeared. This is due to how UE4 and UE5 handle special characters, and unfortunately, it’s not something we can fix. For now, they will remain semi-compatible versions.

If you experience problems running the game please DOWNLOAD the file attached to this post and extract it’s content into the same folder the Z-Island.exe file is located. Then double click on the “Force DirectX12.bat” file, if that doesn’t work try the “Force DirectX11.bat” file. If game still crashes please DM us.

U5 without prerendered static images or U5 for a more power hungry slide show with walking simulation to this slide show? Don’t get me wrong, this is a great game. But we would be a few chapters further if the devs wouldn’t take their precious time to port this to new engine. Now they’ll have iron out the bugs provided by porting to U5. Skål! But there are already some working non static scenes in the game. Like the first scene on the boat or all you can eat on the movie island … I hope they’ll make more scenes dynamic.

BTW: if this is still the slide show does the GPU still working all the time why showing the prerendered picture? Thanx in advance for answering. Have a lot of fun with the new chapter!

• Once you get the Katherine “Meet her at the beach” main quest, you need to meet with her right away to avoid conflict with future quests. This bug has been fixed for next version
• Neither Katherine nor Danna will reach their destination points at the port, players need to save/load to fix this as a walk around, this will be fixed next version
• Traffic will still behave werdly
• Typos
• Under certain circumstances dialogue box will let players double-click an answer and will freeze it, this bug will be fixed in next version
